Coach Dave Webster, advises his players on to improve their skills.
Who said that the campus is dead during the summer? While students enjoy their vacations after a hard academic year, Dickinson is still active, thanks to summer *athletics* camps. Last week, the lacrosse camp, led by Dave Webster '88, head men's lacrosse coach, took place on campus. Eighteen student-athletes grades in 7-10 participated.
According to Webster, the aim was not to pit rival teams against each other or to recruit new players, but to help local students develop their lacrosse skills while having some fun.
"The young men certainly did improve during the week." said Webster. "They were taught the right way to develop as players and given some direction as to how to improve on their own throughout the year."
