With unique events, the College Farm brings fresh food to the community

Dickinson’s USDA-certified organic farm is an 80-acre living laboratory where students gain distinctive, hands-on learning experiences. But it’s also a place where the “farm-to-table” concept comes alive, where food is raised and grown for the college and the Carlisle community.

The farm brings fresh food to the community in two exciting ways: Pizza on the Plaza, which features amazing wood-fire pizzas, and Gather, a unique upscale dining experience.

“Consumers are very interested in knowing where their food came from,” says Jenn Halpin, the farm’s director, “and more than that in investing in their local community and having an involvement in supporting their local agriculture.”
