Exhibition highlights eight distinct views of the world

In June, Dickinsonians were treated to a small Alumni Weekend art exhibition that packed a big punch. Representing a variety of styles and mediums, Phyllis Golden Andrews ’75, Kim Banister ’74, Pierce Bounds ’71, Ira Glick ’57, Joe Grubb ’71, David Orbock ’55, Bill Owens ’62 and Wil Scott ’72 offered eight distinct Dickinsonian views of the world, as they shared their work with fellow classmates, along with artists and art appreciators from different class years.

Several of the artists named former Dickinson professors Dennis Akin and Eric Weller as mentors. All enjoyed the chance to come back to the place where their passion for the arts took flight.
