The Innovation Competition at Dickinson (IC@D) offers a competitive platform for entrepreneurial students to pursue an idea they are passionate about. Working in interdisciplinary teams, and in collaboration with alumni mentors, students develop their ideas over three rounds of competition to create a business plan. This year, all three teams pitched an app to the panel of judges.
Sponsored in part by HighMark, the competition awarded $7,000 in total to the finalists, and the winning idea, iBuddy, was crowned champion and awarded $4,000.
