Law & Policy Major Graduate School Acceptances 2018

Students on campus

Your gifts supporting Dickinson don't just make a difference--they make the difference. Gifts supporting scholarships help the college provide nearly $40 million in financial aid and scholarships each year, making the difference between the college's being affordable or out of reach for half our students.

How has Dickinson prepared you for your future?

Dickinson gave me the analytical tools, academic abilities, faculty connections and overall support that I needed to tackle my law school admissions cycle. Without the courses, research opportunities and extracurricular involvement I was able to participate in during my time at Dickinson, I never would have gotten here.

Internship Experience

  • Legislative intern for Pennsylvania State Representative Dom Costa (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania)
  • Dana research assistant for Prof. Kathleen Marchetti.
  • Collaborative student faculty research with Prof. Kathleen Marchetti and Prof. Sarah Niebler. (Included a co-written paper that we presented at the 2017 Annual Meeting of the American Political Science Association in San Francisco, California).

What are you most anticipating about your future?

I am thrilled to continue my education in the law! The legal field has always been interesting to me, and I'm ready to get started with my J.D. program.

What are some of the defining moments of your Dickinson experience?

My internship and research experiences as explained above, spending the year at Mansfield College, University of Oxford, meeting Judge Jones, working as a resident advisor, and more!
