Dickinson Seeks to Top Past Efforts With Day of Giving 2018

Day of Giving

Day of Giving

Great things happen when Dickinsonians come together

Dickinson is launching its most ambitious Day of Giving ever Tuesday, April 24, seeking 3,500 gifts in 24 hours and asking Dickinsonians everywhere, "Do you believe in mermaids?"

Last year, more than 3,200 alumni, parents, students, faculty, staff members and friends of the college gave $877,835 to support Dickinson’s useful education for the common good. This year, to celebrate donor loyalty, donors who make a recurring monthly or recurring annual gift on the Day of Giving will instantly become members of the Mermaid Society and receive this “I Believe in Mermaids” T-shirt as a token of our appreciation.*

Look for more information on special Day of Giving challenges for various members of the wider Dickinson community in the coming days. And don't forget to join in and make your gift on Tuesday, April 24, to show that great things happen when Dickinsonians come together.

For questions about the Mermaid Society, which celebrates loyal giving to Dickinson, or for any other Day of Giving-related questions, please call College Advancement at 800-543-3809, or email advancement@dickinson.edu.

*For tax purposes, donors who make a recurring gift must donate a minimum of $5 monthly or $55 annually to qualify for the T-shirt. Current Mermaid Society members must make a minimum gift of $55 to quality for the T-shirt.
