Two talented Dickinsonians perform on "Ellen"

Armed with just a bag of marshmallows, the talented Lizzie Becker '20 and Helen Roberts '17 can pull off some pretty sweet stunts. Their extraordinary talent recently landed them on the Ellen DeGeneres Show.
The two debuted their marshmallow tossing skills last year for Best of Dickinson, a talent show hosted by Delta Nu to raise funds for the local nonprofit, Safe Harbor. Following that performance, the two Red Devil basketball players shot a video showcasing their tricks and sent it to the Ellen Show last summer. Earlier this month, they received an email from one of the show's producers offering to fly them out to perform in person.
"Now everybody who watched that episode of Ellen knows that we play basketball at Dickinson," says Becker. "To be able to represent our school and our team like that ... it still blows my mind. I can't even really believe it."
