The Trout Gallery of Dickinson College was named the recipient of the 2018 James W. Dodge Foreign Language Advocate Award. The award is given annually to an individual or institution outside the world language profession for work on behalf of languages and language learning. The Trout Gallery uses world language students, as well as native speakers, as museum docents. This unique program allows art to be accessible to all, including those of linguistic minority groups.
