Kenny Endo brings his innovative rhythms to Dickinson
Kenny Endo, one of the leading artists in contemporary percussion, will perform at Dickinson on Tuesday, March 22, at 7 p.m. in Rubendall Recital Hall, Weiss Center for the Arts.
Four decades into his career, Endo continues to pave new roads in Japanese-style drumming, blending traditional taiko with rhythms from around the world. This program, co-sponsored by the Department of East Asian Studies and the Bullard Music and Culture Fund, is part of Endo’s 40th-anniversary tour, and it includes appearances by other musicians from the U.S. and abroad.
