Ted Hinnenkamp ’16 becomes third consecutive Red Devil to be named CC Men's Basketball Player of the Year

Ted Hinnenkamp ’16 (international business & management) capped off a stellar individual 2015 season with two major Centennial Conference (CC) honors: He was a unanimous selection to the All-Conference first team and was named the CC Men's Basketball Player of the Year.

"Ted was already an outstanding player," says Alan Seretti, men's basketball head coach, "but he matured into a wonderful leader and willed our team to some important victories during the final month of the season."

Hinnenkamp is the third straight Dickinsonian to be honored with the Player of the Year award, following Gerry Wixted ’15 last year and Adam Honig ’14 the year before.

"Adam, Gerry and Teddy all have very different personalities and very different styles of play, but what they have in common is that they are all winners," Seretti says. "Each of them were able to rise up during big moments, and the three of them put in the work to improve each year they were with us and earned the right to have fantastic senior seasons."

Hinnenkamp’s four seasons as a Red Devil were marked by 116 games played, four playoff berths and conference championships in 2013 and 2015, with an overall record of 82-34.
