Dickinson will host the 20th Annual Bluegrass on the Grass festival on Saturday, July 11, from noon until 8 p.m. Held on the John Dickinson Campus (West High Street between West and North College streets), the event is free and open to the public and will be held rain or shine. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets; the lawn can be accessed for chair set-up beginning at 8 a.m. on the day of the festival.

The festival will feature a mix of bands and performers that offer bluegrass aficionados a variety of styles and subgenres. This year’s lineup features Tellico, Jake Krack & Bing Brothers, The Dismembered Tennesseans, Michael Cleveland & Flamekeeper and Russell Moore & IIIrd Tyme Out.

Bordered by Dickinson landmarks Bosler Hall and Old West, the one-day festival has become a regional event that draws close to 3,000 music enthusiasts annually. A wide array of vendors will sell food and non-alcoholic drinks, and bluegrass record companies and Martin Guitars provide gifts to attendees who support the festival.
