Men's basketball ends magical season in the NCAA Division III Sweet 16

Dickinson's men's basketball team closed out a magical season with a 75-65 loss to Virginia Wesleyan College in the third round of the NCAA Division III tournament. Despite the loss, the 24-win season ties last year's record for the most wins in the program's history.

After winning the Centennial Conference title, the Red Devils earned the right to host the first two rounds of the NCAA Division III tournament. They defeated Regis College 74-64 in the first round and topped Albertus Magnus College 74-72 with a buzzer beater by Ted Hinnenkamp '16 in the second round. Those wins earned the team a trip to the tournament's Sweet 16 for the second consecutive year—another historic accomplishment for the program.
