Hannah Richardson '13 is leading the nationally ranked women’s soccer team in scoring this season, with 10 goals and two assists.

Dickinson College reached an unprecedented milestone last week, placing five athletic teams in the top rankings in their respective Division III national polls.
The men’s cross country team entered the weekend ranked 10th nationally and third in the Mideast Region while the women stood at 19th nationally and second in the region in the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association poll. Those standings are likely to improve this week with the release of updated polling data, thanks to team victories Saturday by the men and women in the DeSales University Invitational in Allentown, Pa.

The women’s soccer team (9-2), idle over the weekend, is ranked 25th in the latest D3soccer.com poll. The women, who host McDaniel College on Oct. 14, set a Dickinson and Centennial Conference record by posting six straight shutouts en route to a 6-0 start. The team outscored opponents 28-0 during that opening run. The team broke into the D3soccer.com national poll at number 21 two weeks ago.

The men’s soccer team (8-3-1) entered the weekend ranked 18th in the National Soccer Coaches Association of America poll and 15th by D3soccer.com. The Red Devils lost 2-0 to Johns Hopkins on Saturday, however, and as a result are expected to slip when updated rankings are released this week.

The football team broke into the national rankings at number 25 on the American Football Coaches Association weekly poll with a 5-0 start entering its Homecoming & Family Weekend game against Johns Hopkins. A 23-12 loss to visiting Hopkins on Saturday, however, knocked the Red Devils out of the Top 25 this week.
