Novus part of Music Department’s autumn lineup

The ensemble’s performance featured the works of Chris Brubeck, Michael Patterson, Michael Davis and Dickinson College music professor Robert Pound.
Other musical performances scheduled this semester include the Dickinson College Jazz Ensemble and Symphonic Winter Band on Friday, Nov. 7, at 7 p.m. at the Carlisle Theatre; a recital featuring mezzo-soprano Lynn Helding (with baritone Aaron Engebreth and pianist Alison d'Amato) in Rubendall Recital Hall on Nov. 16 at 4 p.m.; the Dickinson Choir and Orchestra at First Lutheran Church on Saturday, Nov. 22 at 7 p.m.; a recital featuring bassoonist Kimberly Buchar-Kelley (with fellow Trelumina Trio members Rebecca Wilt, piano, and Alicia Kosack, flute) in Rubendall Recital Hall on Sunday, Nov. 23, at 4 p.m.; and the Dickinson Collegium Annual Holiday Concert at Memorial Hall, Old West, on Saturday, Dec. 6, at 7 p.m., and at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church on Sunday, Dec. 7, at 4 p.m.
A noonday concert featuring students in Dickinson College's performance studies program will be held on Thursday, Nov. 20, in Rubendall Recital Hall.
