The cup is presented annually to the most outstanding Pi Phi chapter in the nation, based on the chapter's financial management, community-service and philanthropic activities, scholarship, risk management, and campus leadership and involvement. Dickinson's chapter also was one of seven to receive the Chapters of Excellence designation out of 130 chapters. In addition, the group was awarded the top honor for Excellence in Literacy Programming/Activities.
"We have put so much time and effort into our philanthropies, community service and academics, while continuing to be an integral part of the Dickinson community," said Chapter President Alexa Vantosky '07, who also received an individual award for Best Arrow Correspondent for Pi Phi's national magazine.
