Video Feature: Standing Out

During this summer’s Alumni Weekend, the Community Studies Center (CSC), in collaboration with Archives & Special Collections, conducted several oral-history interviews with alumni about their experiences as students of color.

The interviews with Judy Rogers ’65, Arwin Gbolie ’06, Jason Gong ’06, Michael Henry ’06, Sarah Hiller ’06, Lauren Smith ’06, Dwight Phyall ’06 and Kali Avans ’11 spanned more than three hours and are stored in the CSC and archives. Below is an edited compilation of some of their stories.
