The Global Experience: Brisbane, Australia

One does not simply travel to Australia and not experience the wonders and diversity of the marine life. Much of my time revolved around exploring the varying ocean habitats, as well as simply staring out at the expansive horizons connecting the crystal-blue colors of the sea and sky. However, one of my fondest memories is my trip to New Zealand, where two friends and I rented a camper van and drove around South Island in search of Lord of the Rings scene locations (and maybe reenacted a scene or two amidst the incredible mountain scenery that miraculously increased in beauty as the trip progressed).
