Third Coast Percussion Helps Students Keep the Beat

In November, members of Third Coast Percussion brought their contemporary take on the classics to campus as the latest guests in the Musical Artist-in-Residence series. The quartet’s weeklong visit included close collaborations with students, from in-class lectures and demonstrations, to a culminating concert in celebration of avant-garde composer John Cage. 

The next artists-in-residence will be the renowned Chiara String Quartet. The group will be visiting Dickinson for a week early next year, with a public concert in Rubendall Recital Hall on February 4.
