Recently at Dickinson: Snowtober!
A rare October snowstorm made a surprise appearance in the days before Halloween, creating frosty conditions for trick-or-treaters and snapping tree limbs filled with autumn leaves.
While some East Coast towns saw up to three feet of the white stuff, Dickinson was blanketed with only a few inches—just enough for modest snow sculptures and great photo opps for Carl Socolow ’77 and Taylor Thompson ’14. Despite the weather weirdness, the campuswide trick-or-treat night—and other events on campus—went on.
