Barbecue Block Party

Good food and good times were the name of the game when the African American Society hosted a block party barbecue. Featuring games, music and traditional barbecue dishes, the event was open to all Dickinsonians, past and present.

The society is a social and cultural organization that promotes awareness and acceptance of the African American heritage and encourages cultural interaction and diversity. It hosts numerous social events throughout the school year.
