Noonday Concert. Thursday, October 27, noon. Showcasing students in Dickinson College’s performance-studies program. 

Friday Night Cabaret. Friday, October 28, 7 p.m. Sophisticated songs of Stephen Sondheim, John Bucchino, Amanda McBroom, et al., served up by faculty members Lynn Helding (voice) and Tim James (piano) and guest artist Allen Roth (bass). 

Theatre: Much Ado About Nothing. Friday, October 28, 8 p.m., Saturday, October 29, 8 p.m., Monday, October 31, 8 p.m. Theatrical performance of Shakespearian work, presented by the Department of Theatre and Dance and the Mermaid Players.

Final Performance: Much Ado About Nothing. Tuesday, November 1, 8 p.m.

An Evening of Jazz. Tuesday, November 1, 8 p.m. Faculty Jazz Quartet members, along with guest vocalist Erin Cruise, presented a  jazz favorites in a relaxed atmosphere. 

Faculty Recital: Jennifer Blyth. Saturday, November 5, 7 p.m.

Noonday Concert. Thursday, November 10, noon. Showcasing students in Dickinson College’s performance-studies program. 

Third Coast Percussion: The Cage Century. Saturday, November 12, 7 p.m. Concert celebrating the 100th birthday of John Cage. The performers also held master classes, lectures and demonstrations during a brief residency on campus.  

Different Drummers—Marking Time in Music. Friday, November 18, 7 p.m. Dickinson Jazz Ensemble and the Dickinson Improvisation and Collaboration Ensemble (DICE) presented works that reflect upon different ways composers explore and manipulate time.  

Dance Theatre Group’s Fall Concert: The New Normal: A Dance. Friday, November 18, 8 p.m., Saturday, November 19, 8 p.m. and Sunday, November 20, 2 p.m.

The Harold and Ethel L. Stellfox Visiting Scholars and Writers Program: Margaret Atwood. Tuesday, November 29, 7 p.m.: Reading and award presentation

Student-Curated Exhibit: Julius J. Lankes and the Art of the American Woodcut. December 2–February 18. Exhibition focusing on the artist’s contribution to an important period in American printmaking, curated by Jennifer Rokoski ’12.

Public Lecture: Friday, December 2, 4:30–5 p.m.

G. F. Handel’s Messiah. Sunday, December 4, 4 p.m. The Dickinson College Orchestra, Choir and Collegium presented Handel’s oratorical masterpiece.
