The proposed site at High Street and Mooreland Avenue is a perfect location for the residence hall. The southern side of the hall will open onto a designed and sustainable garden space to be enjoyed by all students campuswide, including staff and neighbors who work and live nearby. Similarly, the building itself will have generous space on the ground floor for lounges, a kitchen and social activities to be used by the Dickinson community.

The new residence hall will provide more than 38,000 square feet of additional living space for Dickinson's student body, which has grown significantly during the last decade. Expected to house between 114 and 120 students, the project also will feature the latest in sustainable design and aims for platinum certification from the Green Building Council’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) program.
