College Helps Teachers Grow

On June 8, Dr. Richard Schramm, head of the National Humanities Center Education Wing, traveled to central Pennsylvania to consider the Carlisle Area School District for a $25,000 grant for teachers to research a topic to enhance their curricula. Assisted by members of the Dickinson College community, the district convinced Schramm that it was worthy of the grant.
