Why did Dickinson choose this moment to develop a new logo? What do you mean by the phrase "a graphic identity system?" How will this new graphic identity system be conveyed to people on campus? What if I want to use the new logo before the graphic standards manual is ready? I don't understand what is so special about this logo. Could you help me here? Why a circle? How was the image for the center of the logo selected? What if people who see this logo don't recognize the image as a compass rose? Will there be colors and/or other images associated with the new logo? Does this new logo replace the college seal?
