Majored in political science (Phi Beta Kappa, magna cum laude); earned J.D. from the Penn State Dickinson School of Law. A partner at Latham & Watkins LLP (Chicago). Practice involves trial and appellate advocacy in state and federal courts, with a focus on corporate representation in securities litigation, mergers and acquisition litigation and regulatory enforcement matters. Recognized by Illinois Super Lawyers, Who’s Who in American Law and Best Lawyers in America. Serves on boards of American Friends of Hebrew University of Jerusalem and Jewish Community Relations Council, and is a active with Jewish United Fund of Metropolitan Chicago. With wife Nancy, has conducted Dickinson interviews and hosted regional events. They are parents to Amy '18, a Judaic studies major.
