As an associate director of admissions here at Dickinson, I work with students from most parts of New York and the Eastern Shore Maryland. You may find in Dickinson College what I also found when I came here: a welcoming campus, an impressive and unique global presence and an awesome reputation of excellence. These, however, are just a few of Dickinson's great qualities. As a New Jersey native, I was used to all of the richness in diversity that surrounded me. I also have found that here at Dickinson.
I really enjoy getting to know and working with youth and young adults. As a college student, I studied elementary education and spent time in a fourth grade classroom after graduation. I've also been a coach for the past 20 years. Connecting with young people is what I love, and being a part of Dickinson has been as transformative for me as it's been for the students I've worked with during my 10 years here. I value greatly this opportunity to be a part of a community that encourages you to develop into the best professional that you can possibly be. What you have a passion for is important, and here at Dickinson we help students move that passion forward in unimaginable ways.
Throughout my professional career, I have been privileged to work with students and families from various backgrounds. What a world we live in! Believe me when I say that we all have something to offer each other. Every day here at Dickinson, that concept is a reality. If you are interested in diversity at Dickinson, as I am, I want to encourage you to visit the campus. Like me, you won't be disappointed.
Favorite spots on campus: The Kline Center and Dickinson’s farm. I'm a city/country boy from the garden state ... what can I say! :)
