The Selective Liberal Arts Consortium is comprised of 12 highly selective national liberal arts colleges, including Dickinson. This consortium provides you with the opportunity to recruit and interview candidates from some of the top liberal arts colleges in the country. Each year the Consortium holds an interviewing day, the Washington DC Recruiting Day, in January where you can interview candidates face-to-face. Additionally, we’re ahead of the curve with offering seasonal Virtual Recruiting Days – where we do the work in arranging these events for you, but you choose candidates that interest you and then you interview them. Employers who participate in one or more of the recruiting days can save time and money as they are able to interview students from around the country from their offices.
These events are "value added" for the employer because of the convenient locations – Washington DC or your office. Most of the time, the students that you connect with at one of the Recruiting Days will be seniors seeking entry-level employment opportunities; however, some employers register to connect with students in other years for selective internships. All of these candidates are dynamic and talented with analytical skills and abilities, problem solving skills, and leadership experiences that they gain through classes or experiential opportunities.
