How do meal exchanges work with the Flex Points Meal Plan in the Dining Hall?

You can eat in the Dining Hall, Union Station, Biblio, and Devil's Den and pay using your flex points. When you enter the Dining Hall or place your order and are ready to checkout in, let our staff know that you are using a Flex meal exchange. You will be charged a designated number of points for each meal period.

Note: Your best value is our all-you-care-to-eat option found in the Dining Hall.

Breakfast = 2 Points (Opening until 10:30 a.m.)
Lunch = 3 Points (10:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.)
Dinner = 5 Points (3:30 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.)

Meal exchange options by location

Dining Hall

All you care to eat meals are offered anytime the Dining Hall is open. This is the best value for students with meal plans.  One swipe grants one entry; however, once you leave the dining hall you may not re-enter unless you swipe in again.  Exceptions are made for restroom breaks and language tables.  You must leave your ID card with the door monitor and inform them that you are leaving for the restroom or to eat in a side room with a language table or other Dickinson-sanctioned academic meeting in a side room.  You may not leave the Dining Hall for class or for other extended periods of time and re-enter unless you pay at the door with a swipe or another tender.
