At Dickinson, more than 60% of students study abroad, on every inhabitable continent on Earth. Neuroscience majors find ideal abroad destinations in the Norwich Science Program at the University of East Anglia, in England; at the University of Otago, in New Zealand; and with the Danish Institute for Study Abroad, in Denmark.

UEA offers upper-division courses in psychology, biology and chemistry (as well as introductory physics and mathematics). Many of these courses are direct course equivalents to required courses in the major. In addition, there are departments of anatomy, neuroscience, cognitive science and biotechnology that offer many high-quality upper-division courses that will satisfy the elective requirement for the neuroscience major.
