Recording Service Fees

Below is the fee schedule charged to students for engaging services of the house manager/sound engineer, Keith Noval, for recording recitals and student audition CDs (for graduate school, summer programs). This fee schedule honors long-standing policies of support for music majors.

Definition of recording session:

Audition CD Recording Session

separate session outside of a recital – fees are assessed per hour – prices vary according to student status

Recording of Non-degree Recitals

fees are assessed per recital for a recital of standard recital length: 1.5 - 2 hours

Music Majors:

recordings of audition CDs or recitals (degree and non-degree)

no extra fee to the house manager/sound engineer, Keith Noval (within his hours)

Music Minors:

recordings of audition CDs

$20 per session ($20 per hour)

recordings of non-degree recitals

$40 per recital

All other students, Non-majors, non-minors:

recordings of audition CDs

$50 per session ($50 per hour)

recordings of non-degree recitals

$50 per recital
