Study Abroad

The computer science program has been designed to support and encourage participation in a variety of study abroad programs. The Computer Science Advising Guide gives a variety of examples of how students can study abroad for a semester or a year.

The majority of computer science majors who study abroad do so in one of three programs that have strong computer science offerings: The University of East Anglia in Norwich, England; The University of Otago in Dunedin, New Zealand; or with the Danish Institute for Study Abroad in Copenhagen, Denmark. Students with strong foreign language skills have also studied computer science in Germany, Russia, Italy and Japan. With careful planning, students are also able to study abroad in programs of interest in which computer science courses are not available.

A full list of study abroad options for Dickinson students is available through the Center for Global Studies & Engagement.
