Our first Biology Department Seminar of the semester is presented by Dr. Yarden who recently became interested in Strigolactones, a novel group of plant hormones. Dr. Yarden’s team was the first to report on the anti-tumorigenic effects of these compounds. This seminar will have something for everyone - plant biochemistry, medicinal chemistry, cell and physiology.
