How We Work

Before work begins, our design and editorial experts meet with clients to determine a project’s scope, creative direction and budget. We also develop a project timeline, which typically includes at least two editorial and design reviews. Most projects are completed within eight weeks; a complex or extensive project may take longer.

What We Charge

Our creative services are free, but clients pay for printing and some incidental services, such as freelance photography or stock images. These charges are clearly identified and communicated before we begin our work.

Graphic-Identity Guidelines

To ensure the consistent implementation of the Dickinson graphic identity, Design Services has established a set of Graphic-Identity Guidelines that provide design standards for communications by internal and commissioned designers and producers. The use of these guidelines will contribute to a powerful and unified expression of the Dickinson brand. Adhering to these guidelines will maintain a strong brand identity for Dickinson.

The College Wordmark and Seal

If you are creating a printed or online piece for an internal on-campus audience, you may download the wordmark and the seal. To ensure you are using the wordmark and the seal appropriately and effectively, refer to the Graphic-Identity Guidelines or contact Design Services.
