**The investment data for Academic Programs are expenses associated with sustainability education only for the specific programs listed.  Not included are expenses for faculty members who are integrating sustainability learning across the Dickinson curriculum.  The wider sustainability curricular initiative has developed Sustainability Connections and Sustainability Investigations courses that are taught by faculty in academic departments.  Each semester approximately 55 sustainability courses are offered.  Participating departments include, for example, Anthropology, American Studies, Biology, Earth Sciences, East Asian Studies, Economics, English, Environmental Studies, International Business and Management, Physics, Political Science, Psychology, Religion, Sociology, Russian, Spanish & Portuguese, and Women & Gender Studies.
