Challenges Met
Thanks to some generous members of the wider Dickinson community, there are a number of Day of Giving challenges to help us reach our goal:
Rush Hour Challenge: ACHIEVED. With more than 500 gifts between 7 and 9 a.m. (EDT) we unlocked $10,000 in funding, thanks to a challenge gift from Kevin Holleran ’73.
Power Lunch Challenge: ACHIEVED. With more than 500 gifts between noon and 2 p.m. (EDT), we unlocked $10,000 in funding, thanks to a challenge gift from George and Jennifer Ward Reynolds '77.
Greatest Need Challenge: ACHIEVED. With more than 2,000 unrestricted Dickinson Fund gifts, we unlocked $40,000, thanks to a challenge gift from George and Jennifer Ward Reynolds '77.
Parents Challenge: ACHIEVED. With more than 500 gifts from parents of current students or parents of alumni, we unlocked $10,000, thanks to a challenge gift from Claudia O'Brien P'18.
D.C. Regional Challenge: ACHIEVED. With more than 500 gifts from members of the D.C. community, we unlocked $50,000, thanks to the D.C. Regional Council.
Day of Giving On-Campus Schedule
8 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Give a Little, Get a Latte: Complimentary coffee from The Peddler will be available in the HUB as a reminder that great things happen when our community comes together!
11 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Strike a Pose: Grab a friend or two and pose for our special Day of Giving themed photo booth in the HUB.
7 p.m. – 9 p.m.
Brain food in the Library: Step up to the challenge and make your gift in the Waidner-Spahr Library.
