Reunion Giving 2011-12

Reunion classes contributed more than $660,000 in Annual Fund support and more than $1.6 million overall for the college during the 2011-12 fiscal year.

President William G. Durden '71 presented the class of 1962 with the highest-participation and the most-improved-participation awards in recognition of their gift from 70 percent of their class. This was an increase of 17 percent compared to fiscal year 2010-11.

Durden then presented the most-dollars-raised award to the class of 1977 in recognition of their gift of $3,000,319. The class of 1977 also set a new 35th reunion-gift record.

This year eight reunion classes also set individual class records for dollars raised or participation in their class gift. These classes are 1962, 1972, 1977, 1982, 1987, 1997, 2002 and 2007.

Congratulations to all of our reunion classes! Every class dramatically increased both the size of their gift and the number of classmates who participated this year.
