2013 Patriot Day Ceremony

The Blue Mountain Battalion and the greater Dickinson community joined together for a brief ceremony that marked the twelth anniversary of the September 11 attacks.

Nearly 100 Dickinsonians and community members watched quietly as members of the ROTC raised the flag, lowered it to half-staff, and watched as Dickinson Preident Nancy Roseman presented a wreath to commemorate the victims of the attack.

The somber event closed with a small measure of hope as Rev.Donna Hughes called for “people of all cultural backgrounds to come together … in local communities, in the nation and abroad … in the spirit of peace.”
