Gifts to the Annual Fund have an immediate impact on the college's ability to reach toward its “First in America ” goals. The immediacy of annual giving nurtures Dickinson 's commitment to scholarship, academic programs, student life and campus upkeep. This fund's effect on Dickinson is so great that it would require an additional $66 million in endowment funds to equal the same level of support that the Annual Fund currently provides the College each year.

During this campaign, it is important for Dickinson to realize an increase in the level of individual gifts to the Annual Fund, but equally important is increasing the number of Dickinsonians who every year make a gift—of any size.
