Campaign Events in London

Saturday Program

Before the dinner, Tom Kalaris introduced personal reflections from Andrew Rudalevige, Veronica Bailin P’07, and Kathryn McClellan ’07. Rudalevige touched on the importance of endowed faculty support, and Bailin highlighted the vital role parent involvement plays in the campaign. McClellan, who is currently studying in the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and will enter medical school at Stanford University this fall, spoke about the connection between the campaign and student achievement. Noting that she couldn’t have attended Dickinson without the help of the Inge Paul ’58 and John R. Stafford ’59 Scholarship for Bioinformatics, she thanked the audience for their gifts to the college.  “None of these important and exciting opportunities could have been possible,” she said, “without the overwhelming generosity of Dickinson alumni and friends.”
