Friday Program
Moderated by Dickinson’s newly named Walter E. Beach ’56 Chair of Political Science Andrew Rudalevige, the panel discussion “The Special Relationship after Blair and Bush” began the weekend with a spirited debate on the future of transatlantic diplomacy between England and the United States. In addition to Rudalevige, guests heard from and discussed politics with noted authors and professors Kathleen Burk of University College London; Richard Crockatt of the University of East Anglia, Norwich; and Robert Singh of Birkbeck College, University of London.
The evening included a special honor for Dickinson parents Robert and Veronica Bailin P’07. In recognition of their dedication to the college, President William G. Durden ’71 awarded the couple honorary alumni status and presented them with legacy pins.
