Faculty presenters include: Ann Hill, Marcus Key, Jeff Niemitz, Hans Pfister, Matt Steiman, Kristin Strock, Maria Bruno and Susan Feldman

Faculty will discuss their experiences observing the local landscapes and ethnic farming populations of the mountainous province of Yunnan, China. They will share their different disciplinary perspectives and the source of the contradictions that characterize China, the new “green tiger.” Themes include landforms and water; biogas and agriculture; the vanishing village; and managing waste.
