Guitarist Randy Napoleon and the Faculty Jazz Combo (Tom Strohman, winds; Jeff Wohlbach, trumpet; Greg Strohman, trombone; Jim Miller, bass; Dave Zygmunt, drums) present an evening of jazz favorites.
Artist-in-Residence Randy Napoleon, guitar, in concert with the Faculty Jazz Combo (Tom Strohman, winds; Jeff Wohlbach, trumpet; Greg Strohman, trombone; Jim Miller, bass; Dave Zygmunt, drums). Mr. Napoleon, a regular member of the Freddy Cole Quartet, has performed with artists across the jazz spectrum such as Bill Charlap, Natalie Cole, Monty Alexander, Houston Person, Rodney Whitaker, Melissa Morgan, Aaron Diehl, Josh Brown, Dmitry Baevsky, Jared Gold, Etienne Charles, Mike Dease, Sara Gazarek, Brianna Thomas, Bootsie Barnes, Mike Karn, Eric Comstock, Will and Pete Anderson, and Vince Giordano and the Nighthawks. He is also an Assistant Professor at Michigan State University, where he teaches jazz guitar. These fabulous musicians promise an evening of jazz favorites!
