Dickinson will honor those who died in the 9/11 attacks during a Patriot Day observance organized by Dickinson’s Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC).
The ceremony will include the playing of “Taps” as the flag is lowered to half-staff by the ROTC color guard. President Margee Ensign will lay a wreath at the flagpole. Junior music major Asha Tran will sing “Amazing Grace.” Rev. Donna Hughes, director of the Center for Service, Spirituality and Social Justice, will close the ceremony with a remembrance prayer.
