Cryptocurrency is a medium of digital exchange that makes use of encryption techniques to control the generation of monetary units and to confirm the fund transfer. Bitcoin, Ethereum and Litecoin are the best-known and simplest implementations of cryptocurrency . Blockchain is the technology that enables their existence. There are numerous concerns about the future of digital currencies. Clearly there are challenges around issues such as integrity, authentication, availability, and confidentiality. As a result, some predict the future is very uncertain. Some expect existing challenges to be resolved resulting in a revolution in the financial system. In short, there remains much to learn about the global challenges and opportunities of cryptocurrency. Please join in the discussion.
