This unique sustainability field trip opportunity is open to all Dickinsonians. Join us for this fun local field trip to see what LEED Platinum looks like- behind the scenes.

The Carlisle Area School District (CASD) needed to upgrade their aging Wilson Middle School to prepare for the future and took the challenge to become an innovative leader by becoming a LEED Platinum certified building. Come behind the scenes to learn about the design, projects and programs of this amazing local facility and see how the CASD is working to operate sustainably in regard to energy, waste, water and much more. All are invited to attend. Dress in layers and wear comfortable shoes. Transportation is provided. No cost. This event is part of the "Exploring Our Place Series". This series is designed to create experiential learning opportunities for students, faculty, and staff to come together and learn about places, processes, and people. Participants will be encouraged to broaden their sense of place through hands-on learning. All are welcomed.

RSVP requested. Email for more information.
