Dickinson will be conducting a leadership development program for student leaders at the Pearl Harbor battle site as well as various other locations on the island of Oahu in Hawaii.
You are invited to participate in a unique experience with a small group of Dickinson students in Hawaii. Dr. Jeff McCausland, visiting professor of international security, former dean of the U.S. Army War College and founder/CEO of Diamond6 Leadership & Strategy, LLC will be directing this workshop. During the week-long program, students will be building the foundations of vital leadership skills through historical study and analysis of key leadership concepts and principles that are illustrated during the attack on Pearl Harbor. Whether or not you can attend the full-day program, please join us that afternoon for a reception from 4:30-5:30 p.m. at the Pacific Aviation Museum Pearl Harbor. Kirk Swenson, vice president for College Advancement will be hosting the reception along with Dr. McCausland for alumni, parents and students in the impressive Hanger 37. This will be a great opportunity to network with other Dickinsonians and to meet a few of our student leaders. Please register by Friday, December 29.
