Assi Azar is the co-host of Big Brother in Israel and a morning show on Radio Tel Aviv 102FM. He is also outspoken on LGBTQ rights.
In 2005 Azar came out as a gay man. Shortly after, he began to create the documentary film, "Mom and Dad: I Have Something to Tell You." On April 11, 2016, Azar married his Catalonian boyfriend, Albert Escolà, in a ceremony in Barcelona. Azar is an LGBTQ rights advocate.
