Students showcase their work.

The 2021 ROWGS symposium will be held on Thursday, April 22, 4:30 p.m. on Zoom.

Presenters and their guests are invited to the Rector Atrium after all presentations have been completed.

Research On Women, Gender and Sexuality by Students (ROWGS) symposium is an annual spring semester event sponsored by the Office of Institutional Effectiveness and Inclusivity and the Women's, Gender and Sexuality Studies Department. Students from across the disciplines present their research on women, gender or sexuality. Students showcase their work introducing the faculty and students to the wide range of research on women, gender and sexuality being done across the Dickinson College campus.

RESEARCH ON WOMEN, GENDER AND SEXUALITY BY STUDENTS

Students who have done research on women, gender or sexuality are invited at the beginning of the spring semester to submit abstracts of their research for participation in the annual symposium Research on Women, Gender and Sexuality by Students (ROWGS).  Often this research is from a senior seminar, independent study, or a joint faculty/student initiative; sometimes it is work that a student has done in a first year seminar or topics course.
