Dickinson on the Move - Highlights of the Month
While the college is proud of all generations of Dickinsonians, we'd like to take a look back at what graduates from the 1990s accomplished last year.
In January, Jennifer Holm '90 received a Newbery Honor for her latest book, Penny from Heaven and Judy Burke '95 was named managing editor at Highlights magazine. During the summer, Brian Kamoie '93 was promoted into the Senior Executive Service at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
Paula Robinson Moore '94, an award-winning French teacher, received the Outstanding Young Alumni Award from Dickinson. Brock Clarke '90 garnered strong reviews for his novel An Arsonist's Guide to Writers' Homes in New England and John Bailey '95 was appointed special assistant to President Bush for domestic policy. Amy Nauiokas ’94, featured in our latest Alumni in the News feature, was the subject of a cover story in Director magazine for her compassionate leadership as managing director at Barclays Stockbrokers.
In the winter 2008 issue of Dickinson Magazine, you can see more examples of 1990s alumni engaging the world, including Joshua Kupetz '96, who co-edited and wrote an introduction to a new edition of Jack Kerouac's On The Road, and Quintin Mecke '95, who ran for mayor of San Francisco.
Share your personal updates or accomplishments by submitting a class note for the magazine. Contact information for class correspondents is included in each issue, or you can use our convenient online form.
