Trash on the Plaza

This semester the Dickinson College Office of Sustainability hosted the annual Trash on the Plaza event in Britton Plaza to mark the end of the 2009 RecycleMania competition.

This year several students and staff members helped the Green Devil sort through the mound of trash collected from the HUB in one day. This allowed us to see how much of the material in the trash bins were actually trash and what could be recycled or composted. Watch the video above to get an idea of what went down!
